This was fun little logo project I undertook for old friend and Tom Curren surf-a-like Chris ‘Pob’ Robertson. Chris shapes boards literally in an old cow shed, so he wanted to keep that rootsiness in the logo he is going to use to add slightly slicker artwork and branding to his already slick board finishes.
We worked through about two dozen hand sketches of cows in various states of weirdness, abstractness & alertness, with many lengthy anatomical udder discussions before finishing with this version, which was tidied up in Illustrator.
